Home visits are at the discretion of your doctor. Please do not ask your doctor to call unless the patient is genuinely too ill to come to the surgery. A rash or a temperature does not prevent patients coming to the surgery and will not endanger others. Simply tell the receptionist on arrival.
Where the condition of the patient does require a home visit, please try to let us know before 10:00 in the morning.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
