Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Change of Details

Please let us know if your phone number or address or any other contact information changes so that we can keep our records up to date.

Telephone Advice
If you would like to be phoned about a particular problem please let the receptionist know and she will take a number that we can call you back on. As we get time during the day we will call you back as soon as we can, although this usually happens after morning surgery. First thing in the morning, especially on a Monday can be particularly busy and telephone requests can often wait until after 10.00.

When We Are Closed

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath, severe bleeding, collapse or unconsciousness constitute an emergency.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. If you do need to see a doctor when the practice is closed, telephone 0845 155 2255.

The practice out-of-hours cover is now provided by South East Health (formerly On Call Care). Your call will be answered by a trained operator at South East Health headquarters who will arrange the most appropriate action for you. Your call may be answered or managed by a triage nurse, a duty doctor, a request to visit the primary care centre or a visit from a mobile doctor if necessary. Your calls to South East Health will be recorded.
